Reinforcement
Reinforcement is the name for a structure (usually steel bars and nets) that is placed in the concrete mass to strengthen it. Placing this construction in concrete is called reinforcement. Concrete protects steel reinforcement from rust. Both materials behave similarly under the same temperatures. Their characteristics support each other and in that way they make reinforced concrete constructions very strong, resistant and stable. The reinforcement can be divided into smooth reinforcement SA and ribbed reinforcement RA.

Concrete is a building material obtained by mixing cement, aggregates (mainly gravel and sand) and water. Concrete hardens after mixing and installation, due to a chemical process called hydration. Water reacts with cement, which hardens and thus binds the other components in the mixture. Concrete is the most used material out of all artificial materials in the world. There are several types of concrete, the most important of which are non-reinforced and reinforced. Also, there are additives that by their physical, chemical or combined action affect certain properties of concrete.
